Retainer Care Instructions

  • Always wear your retainer, except during meals.
  • Keep it in its case when not in your mouth to prevent damage or loss.
  • Clean it once a day with a toothbrush and toothpaste; avoid hot water.
  • Practice speaking, reading, or singing to adapt more quickly.
  • Handle with care; if it breaks or gets lost, inform us right away.
  • Never attempt to adjust your retainer yourself; call us for help.
  • Bring your retainer to all dental appointments.
  • Keep it away from heat sources, pets, and water bodies.
  • Avoid wrapping it in napkins or placing it in pockets where it may be forgotten.
  • Do not leave it in direct sunlight or in a hot car.
